Dook Clunies-Ross is a highly acclaimed freelance photographer specialising in commercial food/lodge/hotel/resort photography.
He was born in Singapore, educated in England, visited Africa, fell in love with it and never left.
His ‘Skin & Bone’ series was a personal project that renewed his love of photography. It took four years and over forty models to complete.
The images are set in the stark splendour of the Magadigadi Pans, Botswana and Namibia and are characterized by joie de vivre and an exuberant appreciation of the beauty of the human body.
